Yay, today is the day! All my furniture and boxes are finally arriving from DC… which means no more living out of a suitcase! With the hard work of setting up furniture, rearranging and unpacking in mind, I decided to make a light, refreshing fruit juice. What can I say, some folks make honey-do lists, but I make Honey-Do Juice!
This juice recipe is not my own; it was featured in the Food section of the Wall Street Journal a few weeks back, and I cut out the recipe to give it a try.
Ingredients:
- 2 bunches cilantro
- ½ honeydew melon
- 1 lime
I was a little surprised by how the juice tasted. Although I was expecting a sugary taste, the juice was much too sweet for my liking. I ended up mixing half the Honey-Do Juice with half the Mean Green Juice, then added one jalapeno (what can I say, you can’t take the Texas out of the girl) and came up with a great sweet, juice that still had a little kick!
